Ekaterina “Katrina” Fouche is the founder of For The Resilient Woman LLC. She is a mother, an author, and a certified life coach. She helps women find their voices and share their stories through coaching and motivational speaking.

What do you do? Or what does your business do?

I inspire women to unapologetically embrace their whole selves understanding that even the difficult parts of their stories have a greater purpose. I  help women to reach the best versions of themselves by setting measurable goals surrounding self-love and self-care.

Who or what inspired you to start your business?

My own story includes preserving through feelings of being unloved and unwanted. Those feelings caused me to seek fulfillment in all the wrong places and on two occasions attempted to end my life. The fact that I can persevere, inspired me to help others who may feel hopeless.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

One of the most important lessons life has taught me is to be flexible with everything. With people, with myself, with my environment, because nothing is set in stone. When you’re flexible you don’t put yourself in a box and it’s easier to step out of your comfort zone we all know growth happens outside our comfort zone.

Things happened exactly as they were supposed to happen, it’s all part of the journey!

If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be?

I used to want to change everything about my past, but now looking back I realize things happened exactly as they were supposed to happen, it’s all part of the journey!  My past is what made me the woman I am today and the woman I’m becoming. I wished I realized that sooner.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my resilience, and my comeback story.  I am proud of the woman I am becoming, the woman who found her voice and is using her platform to help others do the same!

Women’s empowerment is important because it allows us to share our experiences and give us the comfort to know we are not alone.

Why is women’s empowerment important to you?

Women’s empowerment is important because it allows us to share our experiences and give us the comfort to know we are not alone. When we are living happy, safe, productive, and fulfilled lives, we are more likely to reach our full potential thus helping future generations. It’s important to learn from one another and lift each other up.
