Heather A. Robinson, Founder/CEO of anointed2wirte LLC (A2W) is a Philadelphia native. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Temple University in African American Studies, a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Early Childhood Education, and 15 post-graduate studies credits from Gwynedd Mercy. Heather is a three-time, self-published author and her books can be found on her website. Heather’s goal is to give a voice to those who feel silenced; whether through trauma, abuse, or loss, because we all have a God-given voice that is important, and it matters!

Who or what inspired you to start your business?

In 2010, I was in devotion and the Lord revealed two things to me. He gave me Anointed2write, it was very specific that it had the number rather than the word two. When he gave that name to me, I asked, “what does this mean?” I prayed okay Lord, wherever I land in the bible after I flip through will be you making this clear to me. I stopped on Habakkuk 2:2, “Write the vision and make it plain”. I did not understand that, so I went on with life as usual. It was in 2021 that I asked my best friend to check to see if that domain was available and it was. This told me it was a GOD thing and not a Heather thing, so in 2022, Anointed2write was born.

What would you like to share with anyone who is thinking about going into this field?

I would tell anyone who wants to go into the field of writing books to research before you do it to ensure you have all of you ducks in a row. I would also encourage you to speak with others who have done what you are trying to do. If you really want to step it up, look at other ways to leverage yourself and your story. A great tip is collaborations that you will gain from, as well as telling your story anywhere you can, including on other people’s platforms.

What motivates you when you are faced with adversity?

My faith and Chris, my wonderful husband of 8 years, motivate me when I am faced with adversity. I am always reminded that we do not go through situations for ourselves, it’s so we can help others. There is purpose in our pain and God would not bring me to it, without bringing me through it. God has qualified me, to do what he has called me to do and that is motivation.

What do you hope to accomplish in the near future?

I would love to do collaborations, speak on at least 2 podcasts each week, do at least 1-2 radio appearances each month, and travel the world as a paid speaker, with the opportunity to speak on various stages to encourage others to step up, reclaim their voice and take back their power. My message is to encourage you to tell your story, because you have a voice, it matters, and you are more than enough.

Who are your ideal clients and why should they work with you?

My ideal clients are aspiring authors, solopreneurs, and speakers who feel they have been silenced and their story is not valuable. The reason my ideal client should work with me is because I have been in a place where I have been silenced and felt worthless. I know how I was pulled out of it and as a result can coach them, to turn their pain into their purpose.

As a woman why is it important to empower other women?

I believe it is extremely important for woman to empower one another, because we understand what it is to be a woman and how heavy of a load it comes with. We are truly better together, when we lift one another up, it opens the door for collaboration. There is enough out here for all of us to win. So there is really no reason why we should not be empowering and supporting one another.
