At the beginning of each year, many people declare that this will be their year. This year they will make real money, live their best life and so on. Many people say this year after year, but fail miserably. Here are my top 3 simple methods to help you make the new year your best yet.

1.     Make The Decision – There’s a saying all that is required to make money is the decision to do so. It sounds like a play on words, but it actually quite realistic. When you make the decision, you also decide that you are no longer going to sit wishing or hoping for change. You will get up and go in search of ways to create change.

3.     Change Your Mindset –  Although anyone can change their mindset, its no easy task. It requires commitment. The simplest way to do this intentionally, is through repetition. Repetition of the right information that is. Affirmations are a major tool, used to create mindset change. Repetition of the right affirmations, over a period of time can create amazing change. Eg. I am worthy. I am beautiful. I am deserving of love.

Take a sheet of paper and write down some affirmations for yourself. Here’s a tip: When writing your affirmations, do not only write what you believe. Write even what you do not believe, but want to create. Eg. If you think you are ugly, write down I am beautiful. If you think you are weak, write down I am strong. If you think you are broke, write down I am rich.

The next step is very crucial. Repeat these affirmations to yourself before you go to bed each night, and at the beginning of each day. Do this for at least 21 days. This will create your mindset change.

3.     Stop passing up opportunities – When you open yourself up to change opportunities come your way. Stop reacting negatively to those opportunities. You will attract opportunities to grow and develop yourself. You will even attract opportunities to make money. Welcome those opportunity and take advantage of them. Get excited about the good opportunities being presented to you.
